Goal of this Lesson:
Simulate order bumps and upsells using Elementor and WooCommerce, without needing FunnelKit Pro. You’ll create an optional offer before checkout or after purchase to increase revenue.
🧠 Why This Works (Even Without Pro)
FunnelKit Pro gives you built-in order bumps and upsells — but you don’t need it to boost your sales.
You can:
- ✅ Offer an add-on product before checkout (like a workbook or coaching call)
- ✅ Show a “special upgrade offer” after purchase (via the Thank You page)
Let’s walk through how to set both up.
🧩 Strategy 1: Pre-Checkout Order Bump Page
This acts like a bump before checkout, giving buyers two options:
- Course only
- Course + Bonus product
🔹 Step 1: Create Your Add-On Product
Go to Products > Add New
- Title: “Course Workbook” or “Coaching Add-On”
- Type: Simple product
- Check Virtual and Downloadable
- Price: $9–$49
- Publish
🧠 Tip: You can hide it from your shop page under “Catalog visibility.”
🔹 Step 2: Create Your Bump Page
- Go to Pages > Add New → name it “Special Offer”
- Click Edit with Elementor
- Add:
- Headline: “Want to Get More Out of Your Course?”
- Brief description of the bonus
- Two buttons:
- ✅ “Yes, Add It!” → pgsqlCopyEdit
/cart/?add-to-cart=111,222Replace111with your course product ID and222with the bonus product ID - ❌ “No Thanks, Just the Course” → pgsqlCopyEdit
/cart/?add-to-cart=111
- ✅ “Yes, Add It!” → pgsqlCopyEdit
- Style the buttons clearly with different colors
- Link to your FunnelKit checkout page after cart
🔁 Strategy 2: Post-Purchase Upsell on Thank You Page
You can turn your thank-you page into a light upsell by promoting a second offer after the buyer checks out.
🔹 Step 1: Edit Your FunnelKit Thank You Page
- Go to FunnelKit > Store Checkout > Edit > Thank You
- Click Edit with Elementor
🔹 Step 2: Add Your Upsell Section
Add:
- Headline: “Want to Go Deeper?”
- Description: Briefly describe the bonus offer
- Button: “Yes, I Want This Upgrade”
- Link to the bonus product or a new checkout page with just that item
- Optional: timer, testimonials, or a discounted price badge
⚠️ This isn’t a one-click upsell (they’ll still need to check out again), but it works!
🔧 Optional: Use Shortcodes for More Control
You can use WooCommerce shortcodes to show dynamic pricing, buttons, or product links inside Elementor.
