Goal of this Lesson:
Use FunnelKit Lite to build your complete 3-step funnel: a custom landing page, optimized checkout page, and thank-you page — all inside WordPress using Elementor.
🧠 What You’re About to Build
Here’s the full flow:
- Landing Page – Sells your course
- Checkout Page – Clean and branded
- Thank You Page – Confirms purchase and gives next steps
Everything lives inside FunnelKit > Store Checkout, giving you more control than WooCommerce’s default pages.
🔁 Step 1: Create a New Store Checkout Funnel
- Go to FunnelKit > Store Checkout
- Click Create Store Checkout
- Choose the “Optimized Checkout” template
- Name your funnel (e.g., “Main Funnel” or “Course Sales Funnel”)
- Click Import
Now your funnel has:
- A checkout page
- A thank-you page
We’ll create the landing page manually in the next step.
🎨 Step 2: Create Your Landing Page (Manual Setup)
FunnelKit Lite doesn’t include a dedicated landing page step, but you can easily create one with Elementor:
- Go to Pages > Add New
- Title it “Course Landing Page” (or just “Course”)
- Click Edit with Elementor
- Build out your sales pitch:
- Headline
- Bullet points or modules
- Testimonials
- CTA button:
Link directly to your FunnelKit checkout page
Format: pgsqlCopyEdit/checkout/?add-to-cart=123(Replace123with your course product ID)
💡 Tip: You can find your FunnelKit checkout page URL under FunnelKit > Store Checkout > View.
🛍️ Step 3: Customize the Checkout Page
Go to FunnelKit > Store Checkout > Edit > Checkout Step
From here you can:
- Change or hide form fields (e.g., remove phone number)
- Adjust labels and button text
- Edit styles and layout using Elementor
- Preview the checkout to see how it looks live
✅ Step 4: Customize the Thank You Page
Go to FunnelKit > Store Checkout > Edit > Thank You Step
Use Elementor to:
- Say “Thank you” and confirm their purchase
- Let them know what to expect (e.g., “Check your email for access”)
- Optionally add a “Log in” link or support contact
✨ You’re turning a generic WooCommerce thank-you page into something personal and trust-building.
🔁 Step 5: Set Funnel as Global Checkout (Important!)
Go to FunnelKit > Settings > Checkout Settings
Set your new funnel as the Global Checkout for WooCommerce.
Click Save.
Now, whenever someone buys a product, they’ll go through your custom checkout flow instead of the default WooCommerce experience.
